PRIDE Staff |

Nikki Meier is in her second year
of leading PRIDE. Before that she taught all day Kindergarten at
Scott Magnet for 5 years. She enjoys staying home in the morning
with her daughter and working with PRIDE kids in the afternoon. |

Teresa
Stearns has taught preschool for 11 years and has taught elementary
school for 4 years. She works with PRIDE kindergartners and 1st
graders and leads Sports & Hobbies. She has two freshmen at
home; one at Topeka High and one at K State. |
 |
Treva
Koch has worked as a paraprofessional with kindergarteners at Scott and
is now helping kindergarten and 1st grade at PRIDE. She is
married and has 5 children and 6 grandchildren. We are glad she
is back working at Scott again. |

Rachel Pantos graduated from K State
with her elementary education degree and is back in school at Washburn
University pursing her masters in Business. She has been a
substitute teacher, worked for the Girl Scouts and was the director of
a program similar to PRIDE in USD 437. She will be working with
2nd and 3rd grade and Creation Station. |

Anita
Coyote has worked at Scott for 7 years in Food Service as well as for 3
years working with PRIDE. She is the youngest of 16 kids, so she
is used to working with lots of people. She also has 2 children
of her own. She helps out with 2nd and 3rd grade groups. |

Karin Paschke (Pass key) has been
teaching at Scott for 3 years. She previously has taught on the
Navajo Indian Reservation in NM, taught for 4 years in CO and NM as a
mountaineering instructor, as well as did electrical work for 2 years
in MS. She brings a wealth of knowledge to our staff and 4th and
5th graders and Technology group at PRIDE. |

Leosha Giardina has been teaching for 7
years, 4 of those years here at Scott. She married her high
school sweetheart and they have 3 children together. She enjoys
making learning fun for PRIDE by using computers, music, songs,
storytelling and dance. She will work opposite Mrs. Paschke
with 4th adn 5th grade and Technology. |

Susan Jacobson has worked as an
Instructional Paraprofessional for the past 16 years in the reading
program. She worked in PRIDE last year. She has been
married for 32 years and has one son and one daughter. She enjoys
traveling, reading and working with young people. She will
primarily be working with 4th and 5th grade this year. |

Terri Tyler has taught Physical
Education at Scott since the school opejned and has taught for 32
years. She has worked PRIDE for several years now. She will
be implementing our SPARK recreation program starting in November for
all grades. She enjoys KU sports, walking, American History and
traveling. |

Camille
Drapeaux is our Native American Educator. She worked with PRIDE
last year and we are glad to have her back. She is a student at
Washburn University, majoring in social work. Ms. Camille did
several informative presentations last year to educate our PRIDE
students on Native American Culture and traditions. |
